Quest for the Golden Paddle

In general, we're a pretty competitive company. We always want to have the best ideas, create the best designs, build the best online experiences. That doesn't stop when it comes to our ping-pong games, so we've created brackets within the office to compete for the infamous Golden Paddle®.

I know you're asking yourself...

  • How do they get any work done over there?
  • Is the paddle real gold?
  • Does Blake win every game?

Well, in short, we work hard, play harder. Yes, pure gold. Pretty much.

Who currently holds the paddle?

The first tournament began at the end of last year with Josh Miller (somehow) winning the Golden Paddle®. Once everyone realized the beauty and awe of the paddle, more (girls) wanted to compete for this prize possession. So, without further ado, we have started our second Paramore Ping-Pong Tournament. Who will be taking home the Golden Paddle® this time around?
Don't worry, we'll keep you updated.

Let the games begin!

Chris Blake, love the Golden Paddle idea, great way to get more involvement from the team (and have some fun along the way). Quick question, though .. looking at your space, I was struck by the frosted rolling dividers that are in the background of the table tennis photo. I'm building out our space here in San Francisco and would like to do similar .. can you let me know where you got them? Wed, Apr 18, 2012 10:46am

Mike Rustici We prefer to punish the weak rather than reward the strong on our Pong ladder:http://scorm.com/blog/2011/05/how-first-and-last-aren’t-that-far-apart/I'm thinking we need to start a Nashville Tech Company Ping Pong Smack Down Tournament. Mon, Jun 11, 2012 8:25am
