Paramore Tested, Kid Approved

I don’t have kids… yet, and I’ve never spent a lot of time in hospitals. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been for a few minor things: stuck a bean up my nose when I was 4, slammed my finger in a door when I was 8, broke my wrist when I was 12.

3,2,1, LAUNCH - Cleveland State Community College

Cleveland State Community College is located in Cleveland, TN near Chattanooga. Last year they came to us needing a website that would be more focused on motivating potential students to attend CSCC. Prior to this website it had been ten years since they have revitalized their website, so this was an exciting experience.

Rivermen launched - and not down a zip-line.

A few months back I blogged about having some of the coolest clients in the world - some let us go zip lining in the mountains of West Virginia. Between then and now, through some laughter and tears, we’ve completed the Rivermen.com website. That’s what I’m here to talk about.

Spring Cleaning in Gatlinburg!

I grew up in middle Tennessee, so I knew all about Gatlinburg before we even talked to them about redesigning the site. My family took many trips to the Smoky Mountains – camping, hiking, or wading through streams searching for the perfect “skipping” rock. In college, my friends and I took weekend trips to Gatlinburg, even sleeping in my Jeep once. Also, this one time, a black bear ran into the side of my car, shook it off, and ran back into the woods. True story.

Quest for the Golden Paddle

In general, we’re a pretty competitive company. We always want to have the best ideas, create the best designs, build the best online experiences. That doesn’t stop when it comes to our ping-pong games, so we’ve created brackets within the office to compete for the infamous Golden Paddle®.

Music Meets the Stars on iOS

Ahh the life of a developer. Some days, I’m the docent at an inspiring museum. Other days, I might be working at a fast food burger joint. It’s true that to really accomplish the goals of your clients, you must get your hands dirty and learn their business. That’s why for the last three months, I’ve been an astronomer. This post is intended to give a high-level overview of the AstroCantus development process.

Frist Center for the Visual Arts Website Redesign

The Frist has a special place in our hearts here at Paramore. We were responsible for the design of the previous site way back when and the site has stood the test of time, remaining relatively unchanged over the past 5 years. This time around we wanted to give visitors a better sense of all the activity that occurs at the Center.
